I produttori attuali di figurini piatti sono molti, ma generalmente di piccole
dimensioni; anzi, il più delle volte, si tratta di privati che hanno gli stampi
(magari ereditati) e fondono le figure richieste al ricevimento di una ordinazione. I produttori sono localizzati specialmente in Germania, uno in Francia, uno in Inghilterra, uno in Italia. Volendo avere le figure, se il produttore non ha un sito
web, il primo passo è quello di procurarsi i cataloghi illustrati.
Purtroppo, in questo settore il marketing è ancora molto lontano, per cui i cataloghi
sono spesso semplici elenchi (in tedesco) e, anche se illustrati, non sono certo
allettanti. L'elenco che segue prende in considerazione solo
alcuni produttori, con cataloghi molto vasti e comprendenti figure di varie epoche. |
The current Editors of flat figures are many, but generally small companies, and often they are individuals who have the molds (maybe inherited) and cast the figures required at the receipt of an order. Most of the Editors are located in Germany, one in France, one in England, one in Italy. If you want the
figures, if the Editor does not have a
website, the first step is to
obtain the
catalogs. Unfortunately,
in this branch, the
marketing is still very poor,
so the catalogs are often
simple lists (in German
language), and even if illustrated, they are not
attractive. The images published on this site may be an help to understand what we are going to buy. The following list takes into account the main producers, with very large catalogs and including figures from various historical periods.Of course, no business relationship exists between this site and the mentioned Editors: the list is intended to be an help for those collectors which are new to the world of "Zinnfiguren" and do not have enough information. A complete up-to-date list of all Editors is published periodically in the catalogs of Kulmbach Exhibition (see "NEWS").
